MAY MEETING

Strategic Networking and Elections

It's a very important meeting as we are voting on our slate of officers for the next two years. Robyn Cummings is running unopposed as President and Katrina Chesney as Vice-President. The positions of Treasurer and Secretary are unfilled as of this publication.

Second, we will be doing some strategic networking. It's a little different, more like a mentoring session. If you've got an ongoing problem handling employees, need advice on how to take your business to the next level, want feedback on marketing materials, or a question, come to our May meeting for help. You might just learn something new too. It should be lively, informative, and energizing, so don't miss. Today, Monday, is the last day to RSVP so don't procrastinate.

President's Column
By Celeste Friend

Hello Ladies!

My term as President is rapidly winding down and I want to thank each of you for your support and interest over the last two years. In May you have the opportunity to shape the future of our group by attending the monthly meeting and voting for incoming officers – or even running for a post yourself. NAWBO Chattanooga is a small enough organization that you can make a real impact within the organization and the community by getting involved and helping direct our organization. It is not hard and it is not that time consuming! Come get involved and make a difference in Chattanooga and beyond for women business owners!

Also in May, our membership meeting promises to be both interesting and valuable. Mary Robertson is going to lead a structured networking/feedback session. Bring anything related to your business that you would like to discuss or to receive group feedback. This can be anything from your marketing plan to your strategic plan to how you allocate your time or other precious resources. This is a great way to get some free advice from one of the smartest groups in town that have probably walked a mile in your shoes. See you at the meeting!

Celeste
